How we work

A clear process from first conversation to final fit.

Every project is planned around the room, the property and the way the furniture needs to work. The process stays clear, considered and practical from beginning to end.

The approach

Measured carefully. Resolved properly.

Good fitted furniture depends on more than appearance. Access, services, proportions, storage, materials and installation all need to be understood before anything is made.

We bring those decisions together early, so the final result feels simple because the detail has already been considered.

Initial conversation

Tell us about the room.

We begin with photographs, approximate dimensions, your location and a sense of what you would like the space to do.

This first conversation helps establish whether the project is a good fit and what the next step should be.

Site survey

Measure the room properly.

We survey the space, check levels, walls, ceilings, services and access, and discuss how the furniture needs to work in daily use.

Accurate information at this stage reduces uncertainty later.

Design and specification

Resolve the important decisions.

Layouts, proportions, finishes, internals, hardware and lighting are developed into a clear design and specification.

Where useful, options can be compared before the final proposal is agreed.

Quotation and scheduling

Agree the scope before work begins.

You receive a written quotation setting out the agreed design, materials, scope, payment stages and expected programme.

Once approved, the project is scheduled and production information is prepared.

Manufacture

Make each component to suit the space.

Materials and components are prepared to the agreed specification, with finishes and hardware checked before installation.

Any site-dependent details are planned so fitting can be completed efficiently and accurately.

Installation and completion

Fit, adjust and finish carefully.

The furniture is installed, levelled, scribed and adjusted within the room. Hardware, doors, drawers and lighting are checked before completion.

The space is reviewed with you and any final details are resolved.
